How Domestique Hub collects, uses and protects the training and personal data you and your squad share with us.

Last updated July 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Domestique Hub ("we", "us") — a training app for cycling and triathlon clubs — processes when you use our apps, devices and website (the "Service"), and the choices you have. We collect only what a team-training experience needs. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics, we do not track you across other apps, and we do not sell your data.

1. Data we collect

We collect information you provide directly and data generated as you train:

CategoryWhatWhy
AccountYour name, email address, and account identifier (from Sign in with Apple, Google, or email registration)To create and secure your account
Precise locationGPS position, speed and elevation while you record a ride — including in the background when a live ride is activeTo record your route and show your position to teammates during a group ride
Health & fitnessWorkout metrics (distance, pace, power, cadence, heart rate) and, if you connect Apple Health, readings such as resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, respiratory rate, VO₂ max, sleep and body weightTo build your training log, health trends and team leaderboards
PhotosProfile and activity photos you choose to addTo personalize your profile and posts
ContentActivity notes, goals, plans and messages you send in your squadTo provide the feed, planning and messaging features

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate and improve the Service — to record and analyse your activities, build your training log and health trends, generate route and performance insights, power live group rides and team leaderboards, sync your plans and calendar, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

We do not use advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites. Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, our answer is "No tracking."

3. Sharing with your squad

When you join a squad or team, certain data is visible to its members and coaches — your activities, your position during live group rides, and your leaderboard standing — according to your in-app Privacy settings (profile visibility, activity-map visibility, "hide start & finish", and live-location sharing). You control the visibility of each activity.

4. Third-party services

We host data with Microsoft Azure. Sign-in is handled by Apple and Google. Optional integrations exchange data with Apple Health (on your device) and Garmin Connect (only if you connect it). These providers process data only as needed to provide their service. We do not use any advertising SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Website analytics

On our website we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they find useful. It does not run unless you agree to it. Until you choose "Accept" on the privacy banner, no Google Analytics script is loaded, no request is made to Google and no analytics cookie is set. If you choose "Decline", or close the page without answering, none of it runs at all.

If you do accept, Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of browser and device you use, and stores a cookie so a repeat visit is recognised as the same visit. We have turned off Google’s advertising features: IP addresses are anonymised, and we do not enable Google signals or ad personalisation, so this data is not used to build an advertising profile of you. Google processes it on our behalf as described in Google’s privacy policy.

You can change your mind at any time using the “Privacy choices” link in the website footer, which clears your answer and asks again. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing, and nothing further is collected once you decline.

The mobile apps do not contain Google Analytics and never show the banner.

Our own visit counts

Separately, our own server keeps a simple count of how many times each page was requested each day, and which website a visitor arrived from. This runs for every visit and is not covered by the banner, because it does not identify anyone: we do not store your IP address (not even in a scrambled form), we do not set a cookie, and we do not issue any identifier or connect these counts to an account. What is kept is a number per page per day — for example “the Varia page was requested 40 times yesterday” — which tells us nothing about any individual person.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and activity data while your account is active. When you delete an activity it is removed from your feed. When you delete your account (Settings → Privacy → "Delete account"), your account and all associated data — activities, memberships, messages, photos and any squads you own — are permanently removed from our systems. This is irreversible.

6. Your rights & controls

  • Privacy controls. Settings → Privacy lets you control profile and activity-map visibility, hide the start and finish of routes, and turn live-location sharing on or off.
  • Delete your account. Settings → Privacy → "Delete account" permanently deletes your account and all associated data.
  • Export your data. You can request a copy of your data from within the app or by emailing us.
  • Permissions. Location, Bluetooth, Camera, Photos and Health access are optional and requested only when needed; you can change them anytime in your device settings.
  • Website analytics. Google Analytics runs on our website only if you accept the privacy banner. Use “Privacy choices” in the website footer to change or withdraw that at any time.

7. Security

We protect data in transit and at rest using standard encryption, host it with Microsoft Azure, and restrict internal access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Questions about your privacy? Email support@domestiquehub.com.
